Wooden table

I was awake early this morning and on the allotment at 7.00am to do some more weeding.  It was a lovely sunny morning although a little cool.  The plants were all wet from some recent rain and the ground smelt refreshed.  I returned home after an hour and got ready for a sprint cycle class at the gym.  It was an enjoyable class and I headed back home for breakfast and coffee.  By now the weather had started to change and it was getting cloudy.

We left the house as it started to rain and met up with an old friend of my husband's and his partner in a local pub for lunch.  We were quite surprised to see him drinking a fruit juice as he has always been known for his love of beer but after being told by a doctor that his liver is showing signs of damage he instantly stopped drinking.  After a good meal and catch up we returned home.

As the theme for today's mono Monday is wood I decided to blip this small wooden coffee table.
