Above us Only Clouds

It rained today - a prolonged, slow and persistant sort of rain. This afternoon I listened to the violin concerto by Sibelius recorded at the First Night of the Proms. To me the concerto  seemed a bit dark and tortured with the occassional flourish of life - maybe reflecting the character of Sebelius and his native Finland. Sebelius was an ardent supporter of Finland's indpendence from Russia.
After watching the evening news I felt too upset and angry about the continued suffering and oppresion of the Palestinian people to want to blip at all. My blip, takem out of the window this evening to some extent at least reflects that mood.
