But I wish it was ! It’s by James Green and is taken from the latest edition of Resurgence and Ecologist magazine to which I’ve just subbed. The author Hannah Bourne-Taylor has just had a book published, entitled Nature Needs You: the fight to save our swifts. I’m excited to read the article.

Work was tricky, remembering how it all fits together after ten days away from the desk. The crises don’t stop happening. The midday meeting provided a moment of lightness. Tomorrow I’ll be seeing people face to face again.

What a treat, later, to emerge at the end of the day into sunshine and the busy world of a Cotswold afternoon in July!
