Leaping Lizard!

Actually, a sturgeon!! As you know we enjoy visiting the river to watch for leaping sturgeon. Often you hear them splashing as they flatly reenter the water, or a bellyflop if you’re a human :) It’s a thrill to catch their random jumps out of the water but I’ve never captured one on camera until today. Admittedly it isn’t the best photo but the raft gives perspective to how large they can be • A gorgeous day after yesterday’s gentle rain. The air is refreshing in the low 70F • Peace & Love
