Surprise

After that travel disaster last night I had a lie in.

The usual 15 minutes 121 and I didn’t hold back on the morale of the business. The attitude back was that the grass is not always greener on the other side and as the whole industry is struggling, they’ll be lucky to find other jobs. Oblivious to people, just concerned about numbers.

I then headed to London for the weekend. Slight panic when I got to the hotel, I had forgotten my phone charger so had to rush out and buy one.

In the evening, I headed to the London Palladium to see Evita. I thought it would be a typical musical with a number of different elaborate sets, but boy did I get that wrong. It was very simplistic, with the only change being when Evita wanders off in the Palladium before singing Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina on the balcony to the crowds below. That scene was quite something. The whole musical was spectacular, and I absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend you going to see it.
