Grasshopper.

Bev spotted them jumping in the dry grass i have never seen them this colour before they look like bits of straw. 

Homochromy:
Many grasshopper species exhibit homochromy, which is the ability to change color during development to match their background. This is a form of phenotypic plasticity, meaning the grasshopper's appearance changes based on environmental cues.
