The bell has been restored to pride of place, now the front door has been repainted a lustrous shade of blue. The bell was made in Maine, but purchased in the Florida Keys while on holiday back in 2004. It makes a wonderfully resonant sound when struck that startles first-timers. Never fails to amaze just how many people don't notice the fact there's a big bell hanging on the front door!
