Quiet Sunday.  Went to the gocery store for some basics and that was it.  The naked ladies are blooming in the flower beds by the pool (extra).

I noticed some weeks ago different bird sounds coming from the park after dark and that I hadn't seen the barn owl pair in their usual roost in the palm tree (or at least only one of them from time to time) during the day, I was concerned/curious.  But in identifying the sounds these are juvenile barn owls!  (I've been hearing these for a few years but hadn't realized what they were.)  Last night as I stood in the bathroom brushing my teeth before bed, the windows open, I listened to the various vocalizations, then too came the distinctive adult barn owl call.  Pretty great!
