2 Days in a Row for a Guest Photographer

Yesterday it was daughter Karen at the Rodeo, and tonight it is son Jeff. It was 4 p.m. when he sent me this shot from his back yard, and I responded that it seemed early for the deer to be feeding. Jeff and Heather routinely see deer in their yard.

In addition to church, lunch at Culver's, and a nap, Lisa and I weeded our side garden next to the driveway, which was an awful job due to the "picker bushes." (I wanted to stay inside and continue painting, but I forced myself to help her.) I liken myself to my current weed whacker. The box claims that it works for UP TO AN HOUR, but the fully charged battery shuts down after 12 minutes. Back to the driveway. After about 12 minutes of weed pulling, my back starts to hurt. After dumping the first of 2 lawn carts full of weeds, I also dumped out Lisa's small pair of weed clippers. I was hoping she would fire me, but she just made me retrieve them.
