Suffice to say it involves eggs & a big quiz!

THE UPDATE

So the day had come. The much anticipated after-Office Quiz had finally arrived & as the clock struck 5pm (or the digital clock in the corners of our computer monitors), vast swates of desk-jockey's trudged excitedly to the second floor for this epic, battle of the brains.

It was a tremendous Quiz! There were a good selection of rounds with some real toughy's being asked. There was even games too - a paper aeroplane making & flying, doughnut eating (1 minute to eat without licking lips) & egg smashing on head competitions (more points were awarded for a raw egg, less for a hard-boiled one) - it was a right laugh! The scene above depicts an officer dweller's succesfful attempt at exploding an egg over his head, coating a good number of onlookers in the process.

The Quizzly Bears returned in fine form (albeit with only one of the original team that took on the might of the Trinity Quiz - ME!), taking joint 5th out of 14 teams. We were just 10 points of a top 3 ranking which is a little saddening, but it was good fun & I think we can be proud of our little achievement.

I was completely shattered by the end, & it was only 8.30 when I got back to the flat! It was rather warm throughout & I had cracked open my first beer at 5.15 (strangely satisfying whilst sitting at a work desk).

Time to recharge my grey matter, for what it's worth.
