Red alert!

Stupidly delighted to encounter a red squirrel exploring my patch, shinning up my oak tree, clearly interested in peanuts!. Once almost eradicated from much of Britain, they’ve been helped to stage a comeback against the non-native and pox-ridden greys, progress is mostly in rural forested areas, but they’ve been spotted in the outlying areas of Dunblane, and I’d hoped eventually I might see one…hurrah!
