Sunday double-exposure

I’ve taken the weekend to rest as the lurgy is still happening here - so today’s picture is a low-effort but fun double exposure from the garden.

It’s been raining a lot today and sunny this evening - hopefully encouraging the little plants to grow nicely. It’s been raining so much that no watering is required which is always good!

Today has been a rather odd one. I woke early to get the groceries sorted, then a bad headache kicked in and I had to chill. I had painkillers and a bath, both which usually help, but this was no help at all!

I had a nap and felt a little better, then a nice salad for lunch. Managed to get some time in the garden reading and listening to a podcast without any headache, but then it kicked back in later in the day.

I had a lovely K-BBQ tofu based dinner with some stir-fry veg too - tried out some tips on making a block of firm tofu into a crunchy crumbly tasty topping and it worked very well - I will try that again.

Also sorted out some admin for a trip I am taking in September, where it looked like I had not actually got a ticket for the trip yet - apparently it will take a few more days yet to process this. Also planning a trip to surprise a friend, if they manage to book their trip….

I have the day off work tomorrow so potentially going to do some fun things, but it really depends on how I am feeling - if the lurgy is still around it will be another day of trying to get rid of it!
