Way To Rain On Our Parade

No Blip yesterday as I was very busy, and it was way too rainy for me to risk my new camera! Mostly shopping, football, sorting out home stuff, and then Sophia got here in the evening.

Today, we headed to the launderette again. I wanted to do it yesterday but the clothes would have gotten soaked again on the way to the car. It was alright today though.

As soon as we got back to the flat, we headed out again to meet Sadie, who got the train down from Manchester as it's her graduation tomorrow! I popped into Sqew (a Lebanese Shwarma place that is one of my favourites) as well to get something for lunch, which was absolutely delicious. Whilst it there, the rain stared coming down really fast. It had already been drizzly, but now it was hammering down.

It was also Leeds Pride today! When we first got to the city centre and I started taking some shots, it was still dry, but after 5 or so minutes of walking, it did start to drizzle, until the downpour whilst I was waiting for my wrap. We quickly walked over to Trinity so we had somewhere dry whilst I ate, and a lot of people had the same idea. Crowds of people standing by the entrance, all soaked. I feel sorry for the people who were still in the actual parade!

Sophia, Sadie, and I then headed to Waterstones, where we did a bit of browsing before going to the cafe inside the shop. I had a hot chocolate with hazelnut syrup! Delicious! We then played some cards until Sadie had to go meet who family, who had come by car in the meantime and had settled into their hotel, as they were off out for drinks and dinner. It was lovely to see her again and catch up. She also gave me a birthday card and a lovely cat dice as a present too!
