The Whitsunday-based Shag Islet Cruising Yacht Club (SICYC) getting ready for the biggest event of the year.
PJ counted 34 boats from the beach, but there were more around the point that he couldn't see, so this is just some of them anchored off Cape Gloucester this afternoon. This is their annual fundraising, raising money for Prostrate Cancer Foundation of Australia. The event is held over the next three days.
