Dipping our toes in the water

A lovely day spent with just Anna and Teddy as Anya and Max were at school.
Max had his class assembly first thing, which he had not particularly been looking forward to. He is the complete opposite of Anya and dreads being up on the stage or having to perform anything so this wasn’t his favourite but he did really well and was proud of himself afterwards.

We spent the rest of the day wandering in St Ives, the weather was warm but not uncomfortably so. Teddy was happy just pottering before we got a milkshake and headed to school for pick up.
Anna was pretty tired after all her travelling and she doesn’t do well in the heat so I took Teddy for a little while down to the river and then to collect Anya and Max from school.
After tea and when the weather had called a little bit, the kids enjoyed playing at the park together.
