Identify please

I put a wild cam out to monitor the hedgehog population in my garden and was rather shocked to see this . It’s definitely a kit but not sure what of . It’s gone on various pages to try to work out what it is . Possibly a polecat which are protected , it’s been visiting for a week now and I’m working out how to deter it . At the moment it’s backing away from the hedgehogs but it may not always be the case !!
