River Tadpoles

We spent the morning helping my dad gathering firewood from various places around the farm, and hauling into a shed for our elderly cousins Zan and Vince. It was hard work for the girls, but they did really great.

We spent the afternoon at the river cooling off. The girls had a great time swimming around together. Then they spent about an hour or more catching these great big tadpoles. By the time they were done they had about 30 of them. We released them in time to head on back to my parent's house for dinner, dessert, and then a very special treat for the girls. They got to sleep outside under the stars with grandma and grandpa. I slept in the house. It was a special time just for them. :)
