Back to the Campus

Today was the first of three days of volunteer "Professional Development" for instructors. Instructors are obligated to spend 24 hours during this new school year in "Professional Development" training/workshop sessions. So I thought I would use this opportunity to get 6-hours each of these 3-days and accomplish 18 hours.

Today the morning workshop focused on relieving stress. The workshop leader had everyone change into comfortable clothes and meet on the soccer field. This photo captures the "dodge ball" game.

I thought it was interesting that back on Friday evening, June 7, I ended my school year with the commencement ceremonies on the soccer field and today the newest school year begins on the soccer field.

The semester begins Monday. The classes I teach are on Tuesday and on Thursday. This will be my 23 year of fulltime teaching.
