A beautiful wedding ceremony at Wells Town Hall, followed by a reception & party at the Bishop's Palace. Such a joyful occasion!
However, about half an hour before the ceremony, my brother-in-law rang to say that surgery had become the only option for my sister - that, or let her quietly slip away. It was a very long afternoon but after 9 hours, we got a call to say that she had got through the operation.
Talk about a day of extremes..
