Harrogate

We caught the 8:45 train to Leeds, then onto Harrogate.

First stop Betty’s for a Yorkshire cream tea. We sat upstairs this time, looking out on the folks queuing to come in. A look in the shop at all the delicious cakes, Claire bought a raspberry and vanilla loaf cake, I bought some lemon and strawberry macrons.

A wander around the shops and charity shops, we called in Jenny’s Tea Shop, crumpets with butter and a cuppa to help us on our journey home.

A lovely day in Harrogate despite the heavy rain (that didn’t stop for the whole day).
