River Thames through Reading

A slow morning (very welcome) followed by a lot of walking, discovering the hidden aspects of a built up city that has a deep, rich history.

It’s a place of contrasts, in its architecture and overall diversity. Ancient abbey and ultra modern are side by side, there are green spaces, and both the Kennet and the Thames run through the city.

We watched several boats go through this lock in my blip. Very picturesque.

Finished the day with a reviving drink and a decent dinner. Nicely refuelled, ready for another day at RIAT tomorrow!

Thank you for your interactions with the Red Arrows yesterday!
