Bee p bee p

Bumble bee coming round.. The bumble was moving very fast as it fed of this Eryngium it ran right over this orange bug (not sure what it is but looks nice against the blue flowers!)
The three plants that are winning hands down for insects just now are the marjoram, buddleia and these eryngium... alive with every sort of pollinator.. lovely to see. 
A wet start to the day but no thunder and the rain was heavy and steady for a few hours so that must have done good things. This afternoon was warmer and scented. My hip was amazing this morning.. almost able to walk without a limp and stand up without a hand from the dining chair.. but.. this evening it had a total lock out.. couldn't lift it, couldn't weight bear couldn't move without pain.. so.. a painkiller has been taken and I just managed a short walk with no pain.. fingers crossed. The next time I get up it will be to go to bed and hope that tomorrow it will be eased up again.
