Cardboard Boat

I visited the Bristol Harbour Festival today.  It was very busy with large crowds enjoying the various entertainments.  One event was the Cardboard Boat Race, an event my son competed in some years ago.  This year the event was won by this guy in his solo cardboard kayak.  At the start of the race he was into the water and paddling away before the other teams had even boarded their constructions. There was no real competition for him.I believe this is his second winning year in a row.

I have now completed a long series of backblips to bring my journal up to date.  I'll see whether I can continue to keep it up to date.
