Glasgow visit

I caught the train into Glasgow and Cali caught it nearer town  a bit cooler today and thundery..  We met up with Alexandra and had a lovely lunch at the Willow, so nice to catch up with all her news, and the girls are great friends.  

The chat was about holidays, Vienna, Prague, Lake Garda, Wimbledon, Japan and of course Alex's mother, my cousin, who has dementia and is in a care home now. And even our holiday at Gairloch.  Such well travelled girls, and a great pleasure to listen to them

As we left the restaurant it was raining.

Extra is Glasgow Central Station just because I like it.  Meeting under the clock was the thing in years gone by.

Later in the day when I was home we had a surprise visit from Irene, Bob's sister, and it was nice to chat with her about holidays etc too.

We were having an Indian takeaway and it didn't rock her boat, so she went home to food from her freezer.
