Outstanding Agapanthus

Tuesday is a day off, and since Dash is at work experience, there’s no school run either. It's a very relaxed morning, spent doing a little editing and gaming. A very hot, sunny day outside, pretty Scorchio! again, actually, so it was nice to stay indoors in the cool.

Vanessa’s school, where she works as a teaching assistant, achieved ‘Outstanding’ status in their latest OFSTED inspection—a fantastic result, and all due to the hard work of a skilled and dedicated team.  Tara bought Vanessa a lovely bunch of agapanthus to celebrate, so I took this picture of them for today’s blip. I thought they were lilies at first, but apparently not! In Raff’s cafe this evening: delicious Spicy Xinjiang-Style Cumin Lamb Noodles.

And, in other news, the next Guild Wars 2 expansion was announced this evening, with new islands, new elite specialisations, a legendary aquabreather (finally) and a scheduled release in late October. I believe the required response to this is Squeeeee!
