Rain Rain

You rained all day

At last, some proper rain, and at good steady rate, 21.1 mm over about 9 hrs up until now.
 
The rain water tank is full and the overflow has filled the pond (water feature).  The overflow was at full throttle when I popped in for the camera, but we had a lull in the rain.
 
 
Other events.  The aquarium has been a bit misty for some time now, so I changed out just over half of 35 gallons of water, a bucket at a time, and up and down a short flight of stairs when filling.  I’m a little bit kn  tired, poor old f**t.
 
 
A silly variation on an old silly rhyme as it’s Saturday, and bangers and mash for dinner accompanied by a decent bottle of wine.  Sainsburys had 25% of three yesterday, and as the wine rack was nearly empty I saved over £40, even though having to buy in threes did reduce the variation somewhat.  Mind you someone who shall remain nameless has caused a big increase in the basic price!!
