Visiting

There was a big storm through the night, and it continued through the morning. We took a break from our holiday to visit my uncle in his care home in Ware, Hertfordshire. He was very pleased to see us and it was a much  better journey than travelling from Edinburgh.
We are back in Ashford now, the sun is out and we are happy being back in the church close.
