Victoria Square

This was taken this morning at 9:00am, being a Saturday morning the village was quiet at this time.  Light as you can see was overcast and grey.  So how do you make a photograph interesting in this light - find a feature in the hope that it will make people look more closely.

All I could do was find this curving wall along the riverbank, but the buildings on the other side of the road will draw your eye.  Gourley's Pub, the old Royal Irish Constabulary barracks and the local chippy to the right hand side.

The village has been quiet this week, its a traditional time for annual holidays, maybe that explains it!
