SEEING RED

I decided to have a walk in the Valley Gardens this morning before the rain set in. The birds and butterflies must have known it was coming because there were hardly any about, but plenty of flowers, trees and impressive fungi which I'll return for another day. These poppies may not survive a battering from the rain though, so they're my blip. I'd just decided that maybe it was getting a bit brighter and the rain wouldn't come yet when the skies opened and I had to hotfoot it back home, glad I'd taken my waterproof camera case.
