Very verdant….

down here under the viaduct, despite the river being low and muir land all around literally being burnt and still smouldering. It was hot and sunny, 23° until 1430 when a very heavy shower was welcomed by all. However, it only lasted an hour. The ground is taking some time to soak it up.
There were seven young Jays squawking in the Pines, newly fledged no doubt.
