Waiting for a wave...

...maybe I'll catch the next one.

The waves were enormous today, lots of fun for these guys. Perhaps due to the new moon?
It was really hot today so by the afternoon, when the waves were at their biggest, to cool off I would run in as fast as I could, dip my head under and run back out, trying not to get covered in sand from the waves churning up the water. Andrew was crazy brave enough to swim and battle against the waves! That was until the life guards ordered everyone out of the water. Then the surfers had the ocean to themselves.

We had a lovely meal out this evening for our last night here and I'm very full now, off to bed.
