Puffin and Prey

A puffin flying up to a nest-burrow with fish for a chick. I went over to the isle of Westray. The forecast said there might be periods of haar, but it stayed sunny all day. I cycled to the Castle of Burrian, one of the best places to see puffins in Orkney. The shot of the puffin gathering fresh nest material in extras is from there. There were quite a few birds on the slopes I was on facing the 'castle' a local name for sea-stacks, and at least 150 on the stack. I then cycled to the west side of the island to a spot good for black guillemots, but it was all puffins there too, including the one in the main shot.
