Lake Tekapo

A view from the Mount John Observatory. We walked from the house we are renting, which is on the left of the township, up a steep track to the Observatory. The views were super, but the skifield still under cloud. So we had the whole team walking with us today.
The extra shows the group starting the decent - I chose to walk down the road as the track was very muddy…I dislike “sliding”!
It was over 11km, and super. Some are now soaking in the hot pools before dinner. We are taking turns to cook and I cooked last night- so great being spoilt tonight!.
