Five (not) Golden Rings

As part of my excursion this afternoon, I walked along a field margin where oats were growing.  Woodland was on the other side of the fence.  There were many butterflies around - mostly rather tattered specimens of green-veined whites.

Amongst them was this ringlet, Aphantopus hyperantus, but even this one is not perfect.


Although this is not the first I have seen this year, I don't think I have blipped one until today.
