An ordinary life....

Three little doodles...

Thank you for all your lovely comments about Lola's mum Lily yesterday.  These furry family members really do steal our hearts completely.

I had a slow start to the day as I was awake for quite a few hours during the night.  No reason just woke up and didn't feel tired again still 7am.  I vaguely heard David's alarm at 7.30am then the next thing I knew it was 11.40am!  I know I've not been sleeping well because of my shoulder but I think I can say I've caught up! :-)

D was half way round the golf course by the time I made it downstairs!  Had breakfast at 2pm!  Skipped lunch.

My shoulder is so much better.  Not completely pain free but only need a couple of paracetamol to relieve the ache.  The exercises are definitely helping.

Decided to spend some time in the studio to test how well my shoulder and arm would stand up to some painting.  Managed these little paint sketches and my arm felt ok but it was my hip that was aching.  So frustrating.  That said, our Skye friends arrive tomorrow for a week so I'm not going to get any studio time till a week on Sunday at the earliest, so by then I am hoping all will well.

Since I will be cooking for six for the next week (not complaining, I am looking forward to it.  Lots of lovely recipes to be enjoyed :-) we took the easy route tonight and shared a pizza and some pakora (the best I've ever had) and tempura prawns from the golf club for dinner.  Yum.

Hoping I sleep well tonight and for the next seven nights as I have a week of early rises ahead of me!  But for now I will enjoy the peace and quiet :-)))
