The drought intensifies

This is where we usually play family cricket and rounders in the small park near our house. The prolonged drought now makes this ground unsafe to run on without risk of ankle sprains or worse. We seem to be on the very margin of the torrential rain forecast for tonight. Who knows?

This afternoon I had an assessment for part of my voluntary work and am now cleared to add a new skill to my portfolio.
