Hello!

Visited the Birmingham Museums Collection Centre on one of its rare open days!
It’s been a few years since I’ve been and it’s always such an interesting and for me quite moving .
Row after row, room after room ( see extra ) of collections of everything owned by Birmingham Museums that isn’t on general display.From steam engines, cars, machinery to stuffed birds… a lot showing how Birmingham was the city of a thousand trades.. a history that fascinates me.. to the random like this figure head from a boat!

One lesson from today.. don’t rely on technology!
Didn’t realise my phone was on low battery!
It died while I was using sat nav to get us there!!!
I didn’t know the full address !
Our tickets were on my phone!… it all worked out but good lesson!
