Only a Rose

Another beautiful day, with high of 23C.  However, there was at times a lot of cloud, and I did think we might have some rain.  It never materialised and the clouds were blown away in the afternoon by the wind.

Had some shopping to do at the town centre, and then met up with M for our regular lunch date.  As usual so much to talk about.  We had a nice lunch and afterwards I met up with Bob and we did our weekly food shop.  Spent rather a lot today, must try harder to budget.........

The rose is at our back door and only one rose at present, I have watched it grow from a wee rosebud to a big one, and it is very beautiful.
