Cut Off Point

I found myself over in Leith for some meetings this morning. On the way home I took a brief detour over to Cramond Foreshore to look at the island and causeway. I went about half way out along the causeway towards the island before making the uncharacteristic decision to turn back before being cut off by the rapidly advancing tide (and an unplanned 12 hour stop off on the island).

I've taken a copy of the low tide timetable for next month so will be back for a more leisurely (and drier) trip out to Cramond Island.
