Thames geese

I walked to the river this morning. It was so peaceful! The tide was going out, and there were some really big seagulls wheeling around overhead, probably watching for something edible to float or swim past. 
I’ve been trying to walk farther every day, so getting to the river and back felt good, after several months.
I did a little copy edit of a picture book on the Bauer brothers for my friend Suzie, who just translated it from Czech to English.
