House on hill

My Australian cousin Patrick had a house near Sydney that looked a bit like this which with typical Aussie directness was named Shed on Hill, @treshnish and S have given this lovely house the name of Scomar and V and I went on a site visit this morning.  I won’t spoil the reveal for our blip-mates but suffice it to say I am going to start googling building plots on the South Downs when I get home.  Wonderful and exciting! 

We had a quiet recuperative day for Susannah as much as anything.  We went up to the Glass Barn for an OK lunch, picked up some of the very popular Hebridean hot sauce and biscuits and then went for a walk down to the Standing Stones at Glengorm just as it started to rain. 

We spent the afternoon started to clear up and pack a bit before taking Charlotte out to dinner at Ar Bord. I still don’t have a huge appetite so picked slightly but it was a lovely dinner as usual in their airy bright front room. What a treat.
