A gift of food

The doctor supervising my care came to see me this morning with a list of rehab places that I might want to go to after I leave here which should be on Monday. they wanted me to choose a place by the end of the day (!)  My nurse today was familiar with a number of those places and recommended the one he thought was best. It turns out that that is the rehab place that cousin Diane has been recovering in since she broke her femur.  and I found that out when cousin Josh, her son, came to see me here at the hospital, where it turns out that Diane, his mother, is also here because she needs some medical treatment before she goes back to the rehab.

it was great to have Josh here because I enjoy his company so much, and he also brought me gifts of food, as seen in the photo above.  Now Josh has just walked in again, so I will put an end to this blip and hope to talk to you tomorrow.
