Hemerocallis

There are quite a few of these plants in assorted colours and so just love them. They don’t mind being split and moved around and don’t seem to fussy about conditions. They are starting to flower this week and it’s heartening to see how they complement other plants in the bed. This one is almost bronze in colour. The foliage has suffered slightly from the dry spells we have had but the flowers are fab. They do take a fair bit of tidying up to keep them looking their best but they are so worthwhile. Lovely morning helping out at a friend’s house and I got to try home made Manchester Tart cake!
