Funny Day

I cycled first thing and it went better than expected given I’ve had a few weeks off. Had lunch and then set off for Yorkshire (Hebden Bridge) with W and his bike etc. We drove over Clivden Moor and then down Mythum Deeps, precipitous hair pin bends! We parked in the middle of Hebden Bridge. What a fascinating place. River, canal, road, shops and houses all crammed into a very steep sided valley. Sadly flooding is a common occurrence and signs of it were everywhere. Tea was a takeout from an Italian. Then we drove to his friends, another interesting place and I watched them fill up a mini. They leave for France at 5 am.
