Roses at Work

What could make me buy a bunch of roses for the café at work, you could ask.
The answer is that there was a lot of laughter involved in the early morning stop at the coffeemaker, several colleagues, the TV show 'The Bachelor ', and one word giving the other.
Which made me stop by at Aldi in my lunch break, seek something usable as a vase, and me desperately trying not to be watched when I placed the roses on the table.

More laughter, much more laughter (more like screaming) when they were discovered. And lots of guessing, of course. My lips are sealed.

(Of course there were two other colleagues complaining about the noise... oh my)
