Common Blue

Mostly cloudy today and very muggy -keep hoping for a good storm to clear the air but there's none around!

A short wander this morning to my favourite place and the birds were being super quiet again - did watch a lovely kestrel hunting over a field, and watched 4 spoonbills sleeping! Lucky things!!  But hundreds of butterflies again including gatekeepers galore, meadow browns, marbled white, small copper, wall  browns and this lovely common blue.  Doesn't seem to be as many of them around this year - or maybe they're just better at hiding from me!

Finished another puzzle last night so really enjoying doing some 500 piece ones as they are much quicker to finish, and still give my brain a bit of a workout!
