A Rural Day
Thank you so very much for all of your wonderful comments and generous gifts on yesterday's celebratory Blip. I was thrilled that it neared the top of the popular page for a while.
Today I decided to get out and about in the countryside, especially as the temperatures seem to have dropped considerably.
I started off at Tegg's Nose, on the outskirts of Macclesfield and after a good walk around the country park and summit, I ended up in the cafe for a drink and a toastie. The views from up there are amazing but I need to get fitter to contemplate some of the steeper walks :-)
My second port of call was The Cloud at Bosley, which is where I photographed the alpaca and the trig. The skies were very moody and I love photographing them when the sun is squeezed through, making intense contrasts.
