Zoo lab

8.30 and the childers and I were up at the 'other' house meeting a landscape gardener to discuss turf. We await the quote.

Then we dropped the my car off for its MOT and service.
Our reserves seem to be being drained by cars at the mo.
Not had to spend much on it in the last 7 years... until now. Ouch!

Scooted back home, with detours.

This afternoon we met up with a family which combines Miss and Master Bs friends in one, bingo! Went to a "ZOO LAB" session at the local leisure centre, it was great!

'Flash' the African land snail
'Billy Bob' the Madagascan cockroach
'Tilly' the chilean rose tarantula
'Pedro' the giant African millipede
'Bingo' the frog
'Rizzle' the corn snake
and 'Snowy' the rabbit.

The kids could touch them and handle (nearly) all of them, and the guy was really engaging and had some interesting stuff to say, asking the kids loads of questions etc. Excellent!
