I have a couple of days leave (even though I've only been back a week and a half!), so decided to go to Richmond for the afternoon as I haven't been there for well over a month and it's one of my favourite places to visit (I think I've written this all before!)

I had a lovely walk in the sunshine by the river, through Petersham Meadows, climbed up Richmond Hill, sat and stared at the view, looked around the shops, then reluctantly came home, standing all the way on two very crowded trains!
