Deutsch Bahn…

After being busy with Pippa’s move, today I am traveling to Berlin ti coach (rowing). Took the train from Leiden to Amsterdam to board the Amsterdam to Hannover train. All went very smoothly until we crossed the border into Germany and the train had many a very slow moving section. This meant that we arrived 30 mins late in Hannover and I (and hundreds of others) missed the connection to Berlin. We all tried to book a seat on the next train, which was not possible anymore. We should just try to get a place on the next train. This was the result - everyone standing up, no seats available… I was on my feet all the way from Hannover to Berlin…
